Jessica,I disagree with John here.You don't cut off your fienrds (male or not) just because you're married. True, mature, and SECURE couples aren't stressing the fact that you spoke to a member of the opposite sex on the telephone or hung out with them. It's only an issue if you're a jealous, insecure, childish person. Then again, at 16, that may be EXACTLY what you guys are (I don't know his age.)Furthermore, why would you even WANT to be with a man who tries to CONTROL you? One one hand, he won't listen to you or your feelings, and on the other, he yells at you for keeping in contact with people that were in your life BEFORE HE was. What exactly is POSITIVE about this? He sounds like a JERK!
