We have been seeing quite a few patients come in these past couple of days requesting surgery. Some heard about us from the TV news, others from the newspaper and others by word-of-mouth. Our schedule is pretty full, since we saw more patients than we could treat on clinic day. For most of the patients that come in late, the answer is no. But sometimes, kids like this one get a break. He has a bilateral cleft lip, and while we can't repair it this year because he is just too young, we can do a lip adhesion, so if/when he comes back next year the cleft repair surgery will be much smoother and easier.
