Seth Mazow, Interplast staff: This is truly an amazing story. During my tenure at Interplast, I have never heard a story like this. This little girl was born with a cleft lip, while her twin was not. The parents wanted to sell the twin with the cleft for 20,000 dong, less than $2. Listen to this interview with Dr. Tim Sproule, the plastic surgeon who performed the life-changing operation.

Hi Interplast and Dr Tim!
I read you blog with interest as I am both a health adviser and the only foreign resident currently living in Chau Doc. Sorry, pity really, that I didn't know of your visit or I would have contributed in some way myself.
The peoples of Viet Nam are one of the most positive groups that I have worked and lived with despite the many physical challenges you may see individuals with. They are well deserving of the additional support that teams such as yours can provide. Keep up the good work!
